Lithuanian rye bread “Moskovsky” is a dietary black rye naturally fermented bread made with sourdough with cumin seeds. The bread is interesting, and very tasty – 57% rye flour, sourdough, malt, molasses, no sugar – quite the basis for a healthy diet!
The small content of cumin in bread simply wonderfully emphasizes the acidity of its rye crumb. A bakery was opened 25 years ago near Sartų Regional Park, where the cleanest and largest lakes of Lithuania are located.
