“KRASNY OKTYABR” is a famous Moscow confectionery enterprise and is the main flagship of the United Confectioners Holding and the confectionery industry as a whole. The factory was founded in 1849. Confectioner Ferdinand Theodor von Einem started his business in the mid-19th century. His cakes were supplied to the tables of members of the imperial family. Then he opened a small shop producing sawn sugar and chocolate, which later turned into the Einem Partnership. The factory received the name “Krasny Oktyabr” in 1922, continuing to be among the industry leaders both in terms of production volumes and level of technological development. Today the factory has more than 300 types of confectionery products and produces 70 thousand tons of products per year. The factory’s products participate in various international and domestic exhibitions and tasting competitions. The factory’s trademarks have received such awards as “Brand of the Year”, “Brand No. 1 in Russia”, “Product of the Year” and many others. CONFECTIONERY CONCERN “BABAEVSKY” is one of the oldest Moscow enterprises, with a history of more than two centuries. Since 2003, it has been part of the United Confectioners Holding and is one of the largest confectionery enterprises in Russia. The factory produces 4 types of products: chocolate, weighted candies, boxed candies, caramel, with a volume of 31 thousand tons of finished products per year. The main secrets of success are our own workshop for processing cocoa beans, a high degree of grinding and thorough kneading (conching) of the chocolate mass. And thanks to the use of non-deodorized cocoa butter, the full bouquet of aroma and taste of real chocolate is revealed. Every year the lines are replenished with original new products. The history of products produced today under the “ROT FRONT” brand begins in 1826, when an enterpreneur Sergei Lenov opened a “Confectionery workshop” for the production of fudge and caramel in the Zamoskvorechye district. Today the factory is part of the United Confectioners Holding and under the “ROT FRONT” brand produces a wide range of weighted and packaged caramel, halva, waffles, sweets and dragees with a volume of 100 tons per year.
