IRBE’s cold-smoked mackerel from Latvia is known for its rich, savory flavor and tender texture. For smoking, the top-class smoking equipment – AUTOTHERM is used, made in Germany. As a material for creating smoke, the pure beech chips are used, the advantage of which is that no carcinogenic substances are formed during the smoking process. As a result, we get a delicacy product of a pleasant golden-brown color and a light taste of natural smoke, while preserving all the beneficial properties of the fish.

IRBE was established in year 1998, and have been fishing in the Gulf of Riga, Latvia since the beginning. Currently, they have their own 7 fishing boats, based in Roja harbor that are catching fish for their own production factory.

IRBE has the biggest fishing quota for the waters in the Gulf of Riga and offers fish in market during whole year around.
