Patissons, which resemble artichokes and asparagus when raw, is very similar in taste to porcini mushrooms when preserved. For preparation, only healthy, medium-sized fruits with delicate skin and equal in size are selected.
Patissons has a rich composition, which includes large quantities of vitamins B and E, as well as sodium, iron, cobalt, zinc, molybdenum, etc. The yellow fruits of patissons also contain vitamins A and C.
