“KRASNY OKTYABR” is a famous Moscow confectionery enterprise and is the main flagship of the United Confectioners Holding and the confectionery industry as a whole. The factory was founded in 1849. Confectioner Ferdinand Theodor von Einem started his business in the mid-19th century. His cakes were supplied to the tables of members of the imperial family. Then he opened a small shop producing sawn sugar and chocolate, which later turned into the Einem Partnership. The factory received the name “Krasny Oktyabr” in 1922, continuing to be among the industry leaders both in terms of production volumes and level of technological development. Today the factory has more than 300 types of confectionery products and produces 70 thousand tons of products per year. The factory’s products participate in various international and domestic exhibitions and tasting competitions. The factory’s trademarks have received such awards as “Brand of the Year”, “Brand No. 1 in Russia”, “Product of the Year” and many others.
